Why I love spring....

1. Budding trees and flowers, just makes me happy. I know life is good every time I pull into the driveway and see my beautiful red bud tree blooming. It's like it is saying "Hello Spring" :)

2.Kids' artwork all over the carport just makes one happy mom. To know they aren't stuck with tv show after tv show or with the same old toys they have been playing with all winter. I also love to see the unique drawings they come up with, like these from Dot.

3. Play dates at the park with friends. Where moms can chit chat and kids can run amuck. We spend most of our springtime at the park before it gets too hot out to do so anymore and our friends leave us for the pool ;)

4. Windows open and clean crisp air blowing all through the house. It's not so cold that they have to be closed yet it's not so hot that you need the a/c. My house just feels cleaner with the windows open.

5. Birds chirping their sweet songs and enjoying the spring air right along with me.

. And the BIGGEST reason I love spring, the whole reason we even can enjoy Springtime, the one who made it all....It is the season we celebrate the greatest gift of all, Christ dieing for us. We are made new again. Take in every word of this scripture today. You may have heard it many times but concentrate on each word today...

"For God so loved the world that he gave his ONE and ONLY son , that WHOEVER believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. "John 3:16NIV
